12 years (and counting) of BMS improvements

Since its completion in 1985, the New York Marriott Marquis in Time Square and its designers have been celebrated for technology-forward choices. The hotel and convention center is built around a dramatic 37-story open Atrium. With more than 2 million square feet and 1850 plus rooms, the New York skyscraper requires technical finesse and consistent innovation to manage energy costs. For more than a decade, EnergyIQ has engineered, implemented, and supported full web-based BMS solutions for the chiller plant, boiler plant, room hot water, demand response, and meeting rooms. Now, there are more than 5000 total system points integrated using Trane, Johnson, and Reliable Controls. Protocols include BACnet, Modbus, Niagara, and LON.
