In order to prepare the electrical contractor industry for California’s “Net Zero Energy” new-construction requirements, energyIQ designed and supported the construction of the control system for the Net Zero Plus Electrical Training Institute (NZP ETI) in Los Angeles. This facility now trains and certifies licensed electricians for the design and installation of Net Zero compliant microgrid components. The project involved solar power, battery control, energy demand response, HVAC, lighting integration, and sophisticated dashboard presentation.
